Hi there! Thanks so much for popping by my blog.
I’m an Aussie girl currently based in Melbourne. After spending my early years in Adelaide, I moved to Melbourne in my early 20s and a few years later moved to the big smoke in London.
The temptation of beaches and good coffee eventually lured me back to Melbourne, a city I am now happy to call my “base”. Although I love travelling, it’s always nice to find a place to call home.
Ever since I was a little baby, my mother tells me I have always been obsessed with food. In fact there are not many foods I do not eat. Often described as a fat girl trapped in a thin person’s body (well at least for the moment while my metabolism is still relatively fast) I love all things food related and have a particular appreciation of pretty sweet things like cupcakes and brownies.
I started this blog to share my two big passions in life – food and travel. I have always loved writing and photography and initially started this blog as a creative outlet. When I started the blog, I had no idea how many opportunities it would lead to. I have absolutely loved my blogs journey and all the wonderful friends I have met along the way.
After several years working in marketing, I have finally taken the plunge to work in a freelance capacity full time to pursue my greatest loves. I found that corporate life sapped my creative energy and I became tired of the internal politics of the workplace. I also write as a regular contributor for Gram Magazine, Jetstar and many other online publications. For more about my work please check out my consulting page.
My aim is to “eat the world” one inch at a time and explore as many different cuisines and cultures as possible. This year I am finally getting the chance to travel to the USA and visit New York and the Californian coast.

I am available to cover both domestic and international restaurant openings and launches. Note I only cover restaurants which I am likely to go to myself and recommend to others.
If offered a complimentary invite to a food related event or restaurant opening I will always disclose this is the case. However most posts on my blog I have paid for myself since I prefer to be anonymous.
All reviews are written by me and 100% honest based on my experience.
I am available for press trips both locally and internationally. However this depends on the ‘fit’ with my blog. Each opportunity will be considered fairly on a case by case basis.
I am happy to cover hotel reviews if they have a food focus – ie have an in-house restaurant on site.
The recipes featured on my blog are my own or based on others I admire. I also work with clients on product collaborations and recipe development. Examples of clients I have worked with recently are Philadelphia Australia, Dr Oetker and Tassal Salmon.
