1. Taking part in the Selfridges food blogger challenge to create something festive from one of their luxury hampers. You can find the recipe for my Layered Panettone Christmas Cake here.

2. Flat White in Soho, one of the original Antipodean coffee spots in London.

3. The Blind Pig Bar in Jason Atherton’s Social Eating House. Follow the signs to the ‘Optician’, through the door with a blindfolded pig’s head on it and you will find a charming speakeasy serving some of the most inventive cocktails in London.

4. Pitt Cue in Soho – still serving some of London’s best ribs and pulled pork. A perfect break from the hordes of shoppers on nearby Oxford Street.

5. Dining at the Dorchester Grill for the first time thanks to the lovely Zomato crew. I particularly enjoyed the venison with salt baked beetroot.

6.Getting in touch with my inner Italian with a super easy recipe for tiramisu. This recipe is simple to make and tastes delicious, even if I do say so myself!

7. The Southbank Christmas markets featuring 80 delightful wooden chalets selling a range of unique hand crafted gifts, mulled wine, gingerbread hearts and German Bratwurst.

8. I can never get enough of Scandinavian buns. Fabrique Bakery just below Hoxton Overground station uses a stone oven to bake their mouth watering treats.  Their sticky cinnamon buns with cardamom are certainly a good rival for my regular haunt the Nordic Bakery.

9. Towpath Cafe on Regents Canal – one of my favourite spots by the canal to for a coffee stop after a leisurely Sunday stroll.

10. If you’re looking for yummy Christmas treats for your loved ones, you can’t go past The Fortnum & Mason Food Hall for a decadent selection of festive goodies like Christmas cakes, vintage marmalade and loose leaf tea.

What have been your favourite foodie finds this week?
